Chelsea and Arsenal have expressed interest in Super Eagles player Ademola Lookman returning to the Premier League.
The 27-year-old, who was nominated for the Ballon d’Or last year for his outstanding achievements in the Europa League, is of special interest to the Gunners.
Although Lookman is not their top target, TEAMtalk reports that both Chelsea and Arsenal have put him on their shortlist as a potential summer transfer market alternative.
Lookman is undoubtedly a guy to watch this summer, and more information is expected to surface in the weeks and months ahead.
Chelsea is eager to add a striker, as was previously mentioned, although Lookman is not at the top of their list. The recruitment staff has not given him preference because of his age and wage expectations.
Lookman is on the list of possible signings, according to Chelsea-affiliated sources, although a deal is deemed doubtful.
However, Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, has made a special request that the squad buy a proven striker who can help lead the team to the Premier League championship.
